Cyprus Turkish Photography Association organised a workshop at EUL
European University of Lefke (EUL) Photography Club organised a photography workshop for students in the university campus with the special invitation of Foder (Cyprus Turkish Photography Association).
“Foder officials provided basic information about photography and cameras to the students”
Foder president Ramadan Gümüşok and photographer Korman Kocaismail, a member of the association, first informed the students about the basics of photography and cameras in the classroom. After briefly summarising the basic subjects of exposure triangle, framing, use of light and point of view in photography through sample photographs, they showed the students how to shoot with artificial light both indoors in the classroom and outdoors in the campus with natural light. The workshop, which focused especially on the use of light, attracted great interest from the students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences as well as the students of the Photography Club. The founder and president of the club, Visual Communication Design student Erdem Çolakoğlu stated that they would like to continue their cooperation with Foder in the future. Foder president Gümüşok also emphasised the importance of these collaborations in order to make young people love the art of photography and to gain new members to the association.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Elif Atamaz, who is the advisor of the photography club and also a member of Foder, stated that the photography lessons taken by the students in the courses should be supported by such activities and that she will do her best to continue the cooperation with different activities. The workshop, which continued throughout the day, ended with drone shots and all students had a productive and enjoyable time during the shooting activities.
