Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Commerce visited EUL Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences
The delegation of the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Commerce (CTCC), one of the most important economic organizations of the TRNC, visited the European University of Lefke to discuss the economic problems that started with the pandemic process in our country and the world and continued with the Ukraine-Russia War in order to produce solutions. They exchanged ideas with the academicians of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences.
In the CTCC delegation, President Turgay Deniz, Secretary General Aysun Önet İleri and Economist Dr. Nilay Onbaşı Üresin took place. At the meeting in which, EUL Dean of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Ebru Oğurlu, Deputy Dean and Head of Business Administration Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Ekemen, Head of Economics Department Assoc. Prof. Behiye Tüzel Çavuşoğlu, Asst. Prof. Dr. Tahir Yesilada and Dr. Kaan Kutlay attended, short, medium and long-term solutions were discussed in detail. At the meeting, it was emphasized that fundamental reforms are needed to combat inflation, informal economy and structural problems, which are observed as the most important problems of the country.
At the end of the meeting, the satisfaction of the cooperation between EUL and CTCC, which has been going on for a long time, was expressed and views were exchanged on increasing the existing cooperation areas.
