European University of Lefke (EUL) 2022-2023 Academic Year Fall Semester graduates received their diplomas at a ceremony held on January 26, 2023. The ceremony held at the Faculty of Law Conference Hall started with the alumni taking their places, a moment of silence, the National Anthem and opening speeches.

Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Sadık Ülker, in his speech at the ceremony, addressed the graduates and stated that “On this day when you step into a new phase of your life, I would like to remind you that you have entered this new era with a very serious equipment. European University of Lefke is one of the best universities not only in Northern Cyprus but also in the world. We have proven this especially with the international accreditations we have received in recent years, and we are one of the universities that provide good education in the world. I wish you all success and happiness on this path that you began with courage. Don’t think of today as a separation. Share your successes in life with us, visit your university often, talk to us. The greatest reward that can be obtained for us is your success and happiness.”

Engineering Faculty student Maha Maryam and Health Sciences Faculty student Erol Erim who spoke on behalf of the graduates, expressed their pride in being an EUL student and thanked their teachers, families and EUL family who supported them throughout their education life.

After the speeches, the ceremony continued with the presentation of diplomas, and cap throwing, which the students had been waiting with excitement throughout their education life, was made. The ceremony ended with a cocktail held in honour of the parents and graduate students.
