European University of Lefke (EUL) Architecture Faculty, Department of Architecture Lecturer Asst. Prof. Dr. Erçim Uluğ’s scientific research conducted with the participation of world famous Scottish architect Paul Stallan was published in the March issue of The Design Journal, one of the most prestigious international journals in its field.

“International detailed study made an important scientific contribution to the field of design methodology”

Uluğ stated that Paul Stallan won the RSA Gold medal in 1999 and 2005 and was twice awarded as Scotland’s best architect, “Demystifying the Two Design Approaches of Architect Paul Stallan, Descriptive and Comparative Analysis of His Conventional and Iconic Different Design. He stated that he agreed to participate in the scientific research named “Approaches” by the famous Scottish architect Paul Stallan.

Within the scope of the research, Uluğ analyzed the architectural design approaches of Architect Stallan and theorized the design processes of the expert architect. Uluğ also pointed out that the detailed study published at international level made an important scientific contribution to the field of design methodology.
