School of Applied Sciences
The School of Applied Sciences offers bachelor degrees in Management Information Systems.
Foundation courses in the program are taught by expert instructors and staff. In addition courses on the law, economy, finance, communication and engineering taught by academic staff in other faculties is also added into the program’s curriculum. The school aims to train and prepare qualified graduates with a good background of knowledge and practical experience.

Dear students,
The Higher-school began its academic process under the name of Computer Information Systems (CIS) department in 1996, and then continued its education and training activities as School of Applied Sciences (SAS) in 2007-2008 academic year. The Department of Management Information Systems (MIS) maintains a 4-year full-time education-training activities with the elected faculty members in their field of specialization. Within the management information systems program, there are business and management science education and information technology education courses.
Our students who are equipped with knowledge and skills in the areas of marketing, accounting, finance, business law, economics and strategic management and planning as well as programming baselines and principles, databases, networks, security, operating systems, system design and internet programming, specialize in how they can best meet their needs and serve as a critical bridge between business and technology professionals in their organizations.
The Goal of the Department of Management Information Systems:
Is to equip our students with information technologies and to develop agreements and information infrastructures in public and private sectors;
Is to gain graduates who understand the IT best in the social field, private sector and organizations;
Is to improve professional skills in fields such as personal communication, working in good teams, writing technical reports to the best possible degree;
Is to fulfill important roles in IT and related sectors, IT is to ensure that they are professional in personnel and industrial roles;
Career;
Management Information Systems graduates can be employed in a variety of fields, especially as database analysts, database administrators and other databases and information specialists. In addition, they can find jobs as a business analyst, systems analyst, information manager, database administrator, IT manager or telecommunications manager, IT consultant, electronic commerce, electronic business consultant or web developer.
