The fundamental aim of the Faculty of Education is to adopt and administer a functional view of education reconciling society’s educational expectations with the requirements of contemporary education, to develop, apply and improve the principles and processes of learning and teaching in line with the educational philosophy of teaching how to learn, to conduct original high quality research in educate and to present the results at the respective national and international institutions as well as contributing to policy and future decisions made regarding education through research projects.

All the undergraduate degree programs offered by the faculty are approved and recognized by the TRNC Higher Education Auditing and Accreditation Council (YODAK) and the Turkish Republic’s Higher Education Council (YOK).EUL’s Faculty of Education compromises of a team of expert, experienced academic staff who follow contemporary teaching methods.

Dean’s message

Dear Teacher Candidates,

Dr. Fazıl Küçük Faculty of Education is one of the important education centres of the European University of Lefke whose quality and dignity is acknowledged both in Turkey and the T.R.N.C. Our faculty is in charge of educating qualified teacher candidates with its experienced faculty members and well-equipped faculty staff handled by young academicians.

In this century we are going through, everyone agrees that “receiving a good training and knowledge is the power”. This power can be transferred to young generations by well-trained and versed teachers. Our aim as the faculty is to provide this knowledge power to our esteemed students. To learn that gradutes of the European University of Lefke and Faculty of Education have climbed the ladder of success in the private sector and state level is a great source of happiness and pride for our teachers.

Dr. Fazıl Küçük Faculty of Education is a well-established education center of TRNC which is preferred by many students every year. The reason for this selection is that our university and faculty have become a “brand” in TRNC higher education and training. A small examination of the valuable teacher candidates will verify this fact.

If you bring together the most beautiful sounds and bird chirp of the world, you cannot capture the beauty and musicality of a student calling you as “my teacher”. We are a home that educates young people who want to hear this great “my teacher” addressing and who want to find the secret of happiness. Our students should also know that all undergraduate departments of our faculty are approved by Cyprus (YÖDAK) and Turkey (YÖK).
