First Steps to the Profession

European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Health Sciences held an oath-taking ceremony for the graduates of 2018-2019 Academic Year. EUL’s Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Oğuz, Acting Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Rümeysa Demirdamar, Heads of the Departments, Academicians and parents of the students attended the ceremony where the graduates took their first to the profession.

EUL’s Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Oğuz, and Acting Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Rümeysa Demirdamar made speeches in the oath-taking ceremony which started after a moment of silence and National Anthem.

Demirdamar: Each one of you were trained with great efforts by very valuable lecturers.

While addressing the graduates, Acting Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Rümeysa Demirdamar said that “I want to call you my colleagues. Each one of you were trained with great efforts by very valuable instructors. I am now sure that you will proceed with success in your professions”.

Oğuz: Graduates will transfer the knowledge and experience gained from EUL to their professional lives.

In his speech, EUL’s Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Oğuz said that “Dear graduates, dear parents and esteemed academics, I greet you with my sincere wishes. I am proud to be with you on this happy day”. Oğuz wished success and health for the graduates and said that “Graduates will transfer the knowledge and experience gained from EUL to their professional lives. You shouldn’t have any doubts on this. I wish to see our graduates in very good places and seeing them in good places will make us proud. I would also like to thank our parents for their encouragement and support to this stage”.

The ceremony was concluded after the oaths of the students. The graduates of Health Management Department made their oaths with the leadership of Assist. Prof. Dr. Özhan Öztuğ, the Chairperson of the Department. The graduates of Social Services Department made their oaths with the leadership of Prof. Dr. Şengül Hablemitoğlu, the Chairperson of the Department. The graduates of Nutrition and Dietetics Department made their oaths with the leadership of Prof. Dr. Nevin Aktaş, the Chairperson of the Department and the graduates of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department made their oaths with the leadership of Prof. Dr. Nuray Kırdı.
