The students swapped their books with the new ones and encouraged the habit of reading

Fourth grade students of European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Communication Sciences Department of Public Relations and Advertisement set a book swapping stand names “Book Swapping Day” with the leadership of Chairperson of the department Assist. Prof. Dr. Esra Aydın Kılıç on the occasion of World Book and Copyright Day.

The event attracted the attention of students and academicians

With this activity which was held at EUL Plaza, it was aimed to swap stories, novels, academic publications and textbooks free of charge, to reach more books, to read more, to encourage students to research and to contribute to their studies.

It was aimed to repeat the activity that attracted attention by academicians and students and to transfer the information among students and academicians. Many books have reached different readers by aiming to encourage reading habits by swapping books with new books that they have not read.

Furthermore, after the event, the remaining books were donated to EUL Ertugrul Apakan Library.
