Students who expressed their happiness of coming together on Tunisia Independence Day expressed their thoughts and feelings as follows:
Nadine Khanfir: I am a Master’s student in the Department of English Language Teaching. First of all, I would like to thank EUL for giving us the opportunity to celebrate this day. It was a very interesting activity. It was a great opportunity to introduce our country to EUL students. I feel excited and happy because we had a chance to carry Tunisian events here. Such activities encourage other students to participate and also give them the opportunity to promote their country and culture.
Nader Dali: I’m a first year student in the Department of Computer Engineering. It was very nice to celebrate the independence day of my country and promote my country’s culture with an extraordinary and excellent event. With this event, we had opportunity to introduce our country and show how lucky we are to be Tunisian. My advice to other students is to introduce their own countries and cultures as we do.
Mariem Ben Hadia: I’m a second year student in the Department of Pharmacy. It was a very nice event and we had the opportunity to share our culture with other students. I am happy and excited to be involved in such an activity. Thanks to these activities, we discover other countries’ cultures, dishes and dances.
Omar Trabelsi: I’m a second year student in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. This event was a great opportunity to introduce our country and culture. I would also like to thank the university for giving us this opportunity. Thanks to such events, we get to know different countries.
