Course on Porcelain Laminates and Inlays held at EUL
European University of Lefke (EUL) Vocational School of Health Services organized a course on Porcelain Laminates and Inlays. Dental technicians Coşkun Kasapoğlu and İsmet Talay and Turkey Sales Representative of Ivoclar Oğuz Yücaltı participated in the course which was organized for the students of Vocational School of Health Services, Dental Prosthesis Technician and Oral and Dental Health.
Many Practical Applications were conducted at EUL Dental Prosthesis Laboratory
In the educational program which was conducted at Dental Prosthesis Laboratory, production phases of IPS e.max Press which is the first thing that comes to mind in the case of aesthetic dentistry, was explained to the students. The IPS e.max system products come to the forefront with its individual flexibility and the system includes Press technology, aesthetic glass ceramic ingots, IPS e.max Zirpress products used as a quick and effective glass ceramic on zirconium dioxide which produces extraordinary results. In the educational program, the students of Dental Prosthesis Program had the chance to learn the production details of IPS e.max Press System, and they were also given the opportunity to observe the installation stages of press oven, application management and to do practical applications.
Students had the chance to apply what they have learnt
Application types of lamina veneers that have been put into practice as a result of the increased importance of the aesthetics as well as the treatment, methods that decrease working time and increase patient satisfaction and the transfer of theoretical knowledge in education were handled in the educational program which lasted for two days. Students who were given the opportunity to work on a model individually had the chance to apply what they have learnt.
Instructors also gave detailed information on the color selection and analysis of teeth, the problems encountered by dental technicians, and the description of the materials used and the areas to be applied.
