“Bilateral Academic Cooperation Protocol” was signed between European University of Lefke (EUL) and Cyprus Social Sciences University (CSSU). Rector of EUL Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yükselen and Rector of Cyprus Social Sciences University Prof. Dr. İsmail Güleç, have signed the protocol.

The signing of the protocol aims to carry out joint projects in the areas of education, science, culture and arts, and also to carry out common projects and publications in all areas of education and training, to exchange students and faculty members at all levels, to organize common scientific and technical tours, sportive activities and scientific meetings, and to promote the two universities comprehendingly.

In addition, the cooperation protocol aims at the development of continuing education and training in faculties, institutes and colleges in both universities. In addition, it aims to carry out joint studies on harmonization of this education with international standards as the protocol also includes scientific research, projects and scientific publications on common issues in all fields of education.

The protocol, which is valid for five years, underlines to cooperate with the two universities on joint scientific meetings and sports competitions such as congresses, symposiums and workshops.
