7th Traditional Health Walk held at EUL, EUL Students marched for Health
“7th Traditional Health Walk” organized by European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Health and Vocational School of Health Services was held with the aim of increasing awareness on healthy life. Students who walked from EUL Campus to Lefke Atatürk Statue, participated in the festival cortege at the Anıt Avenue and visited the Lefke Orange Festival field.

Dean of EUL Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Ruhi Selçuk Tabak made statements about the walk and said that April is an active period in which there are intensive activities for health such as Cancer Week on April 1-7, World Health Day on April 7, Health Week on April 7-12. Pointing out that the World Health Organization (WHO) has determined the title of “Global Health: Health for Everyone” as the main theme of the April 7 World Health Day, Tabak said that, “For this reason, health is considered as the fundamental duty of all health care institutions and professionals, in terms of raising social awareness and awareness about the adequate provision of health care for all.
