Students of European University of Lefke (EUL) Dr. Fazıl Küçük Faculty of Education continued their meaningful projects within the scope of Community Service Practices course with a Pencil collection campaign. EUL students who organized a Pencil collection campaign for the Olive Tree Education and Solidarity Association are being appreciated for their exemplary behaviour.

Chairperson of the Pre-School Teaching Department Assist. Prof. Dr. Çağda Kıvanç Çağanağa gave information about community service practices and said that they conduct social responsibility projects not only in Lefke region but also throughout the island and receive very positive feedback.

Social Sharing theme was handled

Çağanağa stated that they handled the theme of social sharing in the project and said that they carried out a Pencilcil collection campaign within a period of 3 months and that many people share their Pencils and support the campaign by buying Pencils.

Receiving the items collected within the scope of the campaign, Rabia Özcömert, President of the Olive Tree Education and Solidarity Association, thanked EUL students for their contributions and stated that they would like to participate in EUL’s social responsibility projects in the following years.
